We’ve been talking about it for a few weeks but never really said exactly what is going on…hopefully this explains it all. Xavier only needed three takes for this…the first one was the best. He’s going to be a superstar my friends…enjoy…

Editor’s Note – What most don’t see about this video was during filming. First of all, it took a few takes because of a few reasons…
- During the first take, he ZOOMED away “HEY this is Xavier from Hicks Family Online….and then he talked for a minute about the YMCA while Cindy and I tried not to laugh in the background. While I was interviewing him, he wouldn’t answer my question, so we cut filming and asked him what the problem was, and he said “I don’t want Mr. Kevin to talk” LOL…we were on the floor laughing. Truly a star in the making…and a cocky one at that. Just like his mommy.
- During the second take he was too quiet.
- Third take he decided that he wanted mommy to ask the questions…I guess I’m a little too demanding?
- Fourth take he said Hicks Family Dot Com Online…
- Fifth take was the money take, but you can see when he says Hicks Family Online correctly, and he’s pretty excited about it as you can see in the video. You just can’t see him giving the thumbs up to his mom.
Then he sat on my lap at the computer as we cut and spliced everything. I think HFO will be in good hands with Carson and Xavier in 15 years…with Avery running the show.
So very proud.
If you are willing to commute to Schaumburg, IL – we’ll be hiring soon. Not yet – but soon. It is a long haul to Schaumburg from Valpo. Just a thought. I work for Chartis Insurance – The Private Client Group as an Underwriter.
